Hair Massacure aims to raise $35,000

The Queen's University Branch of Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario held their third annual Hair Massacure at the Cataraqui Centre Saturday with the goal of raising $35,000 for the cause. Sixty-five participants signed up this year and organizers believe the goal is well within reach. (Top right) Queen's Branch President Brittany McLellan gets 10" of her hair cut off by Catherine Grant during Saturday's event. The hair will be donated for children's wigs.

(Right) Craig McHattie-Christensen teamed up with his uncle Ron Craig McHattie for his fifth year of supporting Make-A-Wish. He has raised $5,500 for the cause so far.
